Matus Spodniak didn’t think he would spend three seasons playing hockey for the Ogden Mustangs. He didn’t think he would ever come close to breaking the Western States Hockey League’s all-time goalscoring record. And yet, here he is.
There was a lot to cheer about for home crowds in Ogden as the Mustangs scored 31 goals and allowed just two in a three-game sweep of the Casper Coyotes from Jan. 12-14 at The Ice Sheet.
