WEBER CITY, VA - Karen Wilson, 37, of Weber City, VA went to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Indian Path Medical Center. She was born March 5, 1981, in Norton, VA to Richard Wilson and the late Brenda Franks Wilson.
Karen was a sweet and kind lady who had a pure heart and loved everyone. She never met a stranger.
Her hobbies included coloring, watching television, collecting Barbie dolls and pocket books and listening to music. She was an avid Dolly Parton fan.
Karen was a committed Christian and a member of Bethel Apostolic Church, Kingsport.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Those left to cherish her memory are her father, Richard Wilson; brother, Timothy D. Wilson; sister, Rebecca Davidson; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 24, 2018, from 5:00-6:00 pm at Bethel Apostolic Church, Kingsport. A Celebration of Life Service will follow with Pastor Garland Tipton and Pastor Jackie Flanary officiating. Music will be under the direction of the Tabernacle of Praise Team.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Richard Wilson, 645 Longridge Road, Weber City, VA 24290 to assist with funeral expenses.
The care of Karen Wilson and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.
